I’ve been thinking for a bit that maybe I need to change how things work around here.

Maybe it’s just because I’m in a bit of a gaming/writing rut, I dunno. But I have had nothing to write about recently. I did finish Grim Guardians (now called Gal Guardians), but haven’t got a review of that out. I’ve been playing other stuff like Returnal (game that I’m starting to hate the more I play) and Octopath Traveler 2 (I’m almost done with it but I’m also kinda bored of it). I got to the second “part” of Labyrinth of Galleria, and while that game is very good, how this functioned kinda pissed me off and I put the game on hold, so no review for that either. I don’t feel good about writing about those. And overall even stuff I really wanted to play I ended up not grabbing so far, Like A Dragon: Isshin I haven’t even seen video of for example. And even when I’ve been writing reviews recently, it’s taken so long for me to get them out.

So I think I need to change things around here. Maybe I could do monthly breakdowns of things I’ve played recently, and only force myself to write full reviews when it’s about bigger stuff, or games that really. Or maybe just do shorter impression kind of posts instead of full reviews, I’m still figuring that out.

Not much more to say here, just wanted to write something about how I’ve not been writing much recently. I think I’ll keep the monthly release lists going since they’re pretty easy to do, but I’m gonna find different things to post about as I go since clearly I’ve not been finishing games so reviews aren’t really an option.
