I won’t review Souldiers

Souldiers

Souldiers

I am disappointed. I really wanted to like this game, and technically there’s a lot to like about Souldiers, but it has a lot of small issues that mount up to me… not liking it.

I’m a whole 27 hours into this game (maybe a bit less, I did keep it open a few times while eating), and I’m actually probably almost done with it, but no. I’m just tired of it.

So I will not review it, but I will talk about it. I can’t review it, because I’m not done with it, thus I can’t have a fully-formed opinion of it. But I can at least explain why I’m done with it.

So let’s go and talk about it a bit in this non-review! This will be pretty scattered, since it’s not a review, and I won’t quite go through the same kind of points I would in a review.

I won’t review Monark

Monark

Monark
I had high hopes for this one, it being a game made by ex-Persona staff. So I got it at launch last week and played it a bunch in-between playing Elden Ring.

I am now 20 hours in and I’m fucking done. That puts me around the halfway mark of the game, and I feel like things are either getting worse, or I just can’t take it anymore. This is very unfortunate, but wow, this game is something else. And not in a good way.

So I am NOT reviewing it since… you know… I can’t (because I didn’t finish it… take note, “professional” reviewers), but at least I’ll give my impressions so far and explain why I’m done with it… This is as much as you’re getting from me review-wise for this one.

Let’s go!

I’m not reviewing Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD

Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD

I WAS going to review this. I just finished it. It’s really really good and I do absolutely recommend this game if you haven’t played it before. It holds up super well, though I will say it’s easier than people give it credit for as long as you strategize. But I’m not gonna review it.

Why I’m not reviewing it is pretty simple… I’ll be reviewing SMTV this year and I feel the reviews would be very similar in content since the gameplay seems pretty similar. So I’m holding off. I’ll exclaim my love of SMT franchise then.

Simple enough. The game is good. I recommend getting it at some point. No need for a full post!
